The 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Goulots ler Cru is 50% whole bunch with 35% new oak (Raymond cooperage). It conveys more fruite on the nose of red currant and cranberry, although I find more terroir expression on the La Perriere this year. The palate is medium-bodied with chalky tannins, taut and spicy from the oak, and integrated with a grippy finish. Give this 4-5 years in bottle because there is fine matiere here. (Vinous, Dec 2020)
